We are looking for a dedicated and team-oriented Pediatric Hospitalist to join our esteemed healthcare team

at Ohio Health, a premier medical facility in Athens, OH.

 

• Newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists
• The team will consist of 3 Pediatric Hospitalists
• 24/7 on-call coverage -- round and go model with call from home. Schedule is 7.6 shifts in house shifts and 10 with out of house call a month
• Pediatric Hospitalists will perform circs
• Pediatric Consultations: Provide expert pediatric consultations to the emergency department, offering timely assessments, recommendations, and treatment plans for pediatric patients.
• Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with a team of pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
• Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI): The ability to participate in CQI initiatives and clinical research projects, contributing to the enhancement of patient care outcomes and best practices.
• Knowledge Exchange: Take advantage of the opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of Pediatrix providers, including over 400 NICUs and several thousand providers.
