BJC Medical Group is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician for a Hospitalist Medicine position at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, the largest community based hospital with BJC Healthcare.  BJC Medical Group serves thousands of patients every day across Missouri and Illinois. Position Highlights:

• No rapid response
• No codes or procedures
• Joining an established team of 21  daytime Hospitalists, 3  Nocturnists, and 4 Advanced Practice Providers
• Assistance with cross coverage call from the admitting shift team
• 12 Hour Shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Closed, 30 bed ICU
• Focus on hospital admissions
• EMR: EPIC

Compensation & Benefits:

• $285,000 for 182 shifts per year
• $30,000 Sign-on Bonus

Role Purpose

Ensures optimal care and promotes safety of patients admitted to assigned service in cooperation with the private attending staff and nursing staff. Communicates with staff, patients, and families.
