Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a BC/BE Neurologist to join the Department of Neurology,
in “Aggieland” College Station, Texas.
Position Highlights
Join an established general neurology practice to provide general neurological care to patients.
There are currently 3 neurologists in the department who practice general neurology and 1 neurologist has a focus on epilepsy care, in addition to seeing general neurology patients.
The work setting is primarily outpatient with a light mix of inpatient responsibilities.
The clinic schedule is Monday through Friday.
Call is 1:4, typically rotated each week by PHONE ONLY.
Acute strokes are handled by the regional tele-stroke team.
There is a full- service neuro lab with EMG, EEG, and NCV capabilities, while continuously developing additional EEG services.

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – College Station is a five-story, 135-bed hospital on a 98-acre campus near the intersection of Texas Highway 6 and Rock Prairie Road. A care clinic operates adjacent to the hospital. The medical center is designated as a certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center, a certified Chest Pain Center, and a Level III Trauma Center.

QUALIFICATIONS
Doctorate Degree in Medicine
Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialists or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
