Navos is seeking a part time (0.8 FTE) Doctor of Medicine / Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine for the Navos outpatient adult psychiatric program.The MD or DO provider is responsible for providing routine psychiatric care for patients 18 and older. The provider conducts complete psychiatric assessments and examinations, diagnoses psychiatric conditions, initiates treatment, provides medication management, and refers patients to other care providers for non-medication management based needs. Services are provided both in person and via telehealth. Education and/or Experience:Medical Degree and residency completed; 1-3 years prior work experience in psychiatric settings is required. Experience with both acutely and chronicle mentally ill adults preferred. Must have current, thorough familiarity with psychotropic medications, their prescribing, administration, and appropriate monitoring, including the assessment and management of potential side effects.Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:Must possess a Washington State MD or DO license, as well as current federal DEA/NPI licenses, active Medicare provider status and ongoing Board Certification. Must have current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
