Mercy Health Physician Partners (MHPP) is seeking a full-time, Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to join our Neuroscience Specialists team located in Muskegon, Michigan.

The selected candidate will join a professional, confident, and friendly team of two Neurosurgeons and four PAs. Our new (completed in 2020) state of the art hospital is designated as a Level 2 trauma center and has 20 operating rooms. Our new Neurosciences Pavilion is slated to open in January 2023. The multispecialty practice will include neurosurgery, neurology, PM&R spine, and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM). The practice will provide a one stop shop for all diagnostics workups and is conveniently located right down the street from our new hospital.

Our anesthesiologists have dedicated time to improving the efficiency of the OR and the quality of care for our patients. They are currently working on the roll out of our Surgical Optimization Service where patients will undergo a consistent and comprehensive review/tune up prior to surgery.

Our team provides 24/7 coverage on the Mercy campus and covers trauma, spine, and neurosurgical call. The team is willing to consider a subspecialty neurosurgeon as appropriate, but the candidate must be able to take general and spine call.

Physicians must be American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS) certified or board eligible. A State of Michigan license is required at time of employment, along with a DEA license and ACLS and BLS certifications.
