The Wilmington Adult Medicine practice of ChristianaCare is looking to add another outstanding clinical faculty member to join its largest teaching practice in Wilmington, DE! Wilmington Adult Medicine is the home to our resident practice with over 60 residents, medical students and faculty. We serve our community and to train internal medicine resident physicians, IM/Peds resident physicians and emergency medicine/IM resident physicians. Internal Medicine and Internal Medicine-Pediatrics physicians are encouraged to apply!

Position Highlights:
- Treat a diverse, multi-cultural population representing all ages (predominantly adult)
- Provide clinical teaching to internal medicine residents, internal medicine-pediatrics residents and medical students
- Serve as one of the primary outpatient general medicine faculty for the residency program
- Participate in faculty meetings, faculty development and resident evaluation and feedback
- Practice in a well-resourced teaching practice with imbedded behavioral health, social work, pharmacy, health guides and built-in time to address population health of our complex patients.
Requirements:
- Post-graduate degree from an accredited medical institution and completion of an accredited internal medicine residency, combined internal medicine/pediatrics residency or combined emergency medicine/internal medicine residency program.
- Proven knowledge base of internal medicine and primary care related issues.
- Board eligible or board certified
Preferences
- Experience in clinical practice
- Experience with teaching responsibilities.
- Interest in general internal medicine focus areas including women's health, sports medicine, procedures, osteopathic manipulative treatment or transitions of care.
- Experience or interest in areas such as faculty development, quality improvement, residency-related curriculum development, or interest in providing healthcare to underserved communities/social determinants of health.
