Akron Children's Hospital seeks an Adolescent Medicine physician to join its growing team of providers. Akron Children's Hospital is the largest pediatric healthcare system in Northeast Ohio and is ranked among the best children's hospitals by US News and World Report .

Akron Children's Hospital offers the most comprehensive adolescent medicine program in northeast Ohio. Our inclusive care focuses on respecting individuality and confidentiality supporting physical, social and emotional development and empowering teens and young adults to take ownership of their health care and life decisions.

Our specialty programs include:

*Adolescent-specific primary care

*Treatment for eating disorders

*Gender affirming medicine

• Gynecologic care

In addition, we offer expertise in the treatment of incarcerated youth, mood disorders and suicide, substance abuse, ADHD and sports medicine injuries. The adolescent medicine team manages more than 7,000 visits annually through inpatient and outpatient services.

• Active involvement in medical student and resident education academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University is available and commensurate with experience

Requirements include MD or DO degree, board eligibility/certification in Adolescent Medicine and the ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Ohio.
