The Nurse Practitioner evaluates, plans, and provides care for patients in consultation with and under direct supervision of attending Physician. The Nurse Practitioner performs clinical procedures under direction of attending Physician and according to approved protocols. The Nurse Practitioner initiates and changes orders for tests and patient care based on condition of patient and approval of Physician. The Nurse Practitioner develops and maintains active practice in facilities. The Nurse Practitioner compiles medical history information and other relevant data from patient and family while updating medical record.
The Nurse Practitioner evaluates patient condition and medical needs while developing plan of care to be approved by attending Physician. The Nurse Practitioner performs clinical procedures under direction of attending Physician and according to approved protocols. The Nurse Practitioner performs advanced clinical procedures in emergency situations. The Nurse Practitioner initiate orders for routine Laboratory, radiologic and diagnostic examinations or tests based on attending Physician verbal orders and written protocol. The Nurse Practitioner initiates or change patient care orders under circumstance of change in condition under Physician Orders. The Nurse Practitioner assists Physician on Hospital rounds and prepares progress entries for patient medical record. The Nurse Practitioner participates in Continuing Medical Education Programs and provides educational programs for Nursing Staff and other personnel.
The ideal candidate for The Nurse Practitioner is maintains effective communication with patients, staff and physicians, provides patient care in a competent, professional and courteous manner, and keeps abreast of current research and incorporates relevant findings into specific areas of clinical practice.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 2 years experience required
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION:
- Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
