Fairview & HealthEast is seeking a Family Medicine physician, with or without OB, to join our multi-specialty clinic at the HealthEast - Woodwinds Clinic located in Woodbury, Minnesota, located in the eastern suburbs of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.

Practice Details:

  • Primary Care group consists of 2 family medicine physicians (1 that does OB), 3 nurse practitioners, 3 internal medicine physicians, and 1 internal medicine/pediatric physician, 5 pediatricians and nurse midwives.
  • This is a full scope family medicine practice in an outpatient clinic setting, and OB is optional.
  • This is a full time opportunity that includes 32 (28 if doing OB) patient contact hours per week and 8 hours of administrative time.
  • Call:  Family Medicine without OB is phone call only, 1:10 weeks, and shared with physicians from other HealthEast Clinics.
  • Call:  Family Medicine with OB includes taking call for your own own patients, with back up coverage available from other family medicine physicians doing OB in nearby HealthEast Clinics.  Babies are delivered primarily at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, MN or St. John's Hospital in Maplewood.
  • Patient encounters average between 18 - 22 patients per day .
  • A fully integrated electronic medical record (EPIC) is utilized.
  • Clinic hours are 7:30am-5pm, Monday - Friday.

Family Medicine (OB Optional)  Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency training program.
  • BC/BE with the ABMS or AOA.
  • Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
  • Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota.
  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required).
